HOW WE ARE KEEPING HOMEOWNERS SAFE
Just like many of you at home, the COVID-19 pandemic is something we are continually keeping up to date on. We want to make sure past, current, and future customers understand how serious we are taking this whole situation.
Roofing, like many home services, is an essential service that needs to be readily available for homeowners in case of an emergency. Robey Roofing is well prepared and able to use all electronic communication to adhere to all State and the CDC’s guidelines about social distancing. Continue below to see several new policies we have put in place to keep homeowners and us safe during the whole roofing process.
Proposal Process –
We offer homeowners the new option of having the proposal process conducted virtually over Zoom with a salesman, discussing their roofing concerns while safely at home. They’ll receive a full proposal and scope of work emailed to them within 24 hours.* Or homeowners can choose to have a traditional home visit but, instead of speaking with the salesman around the kitchen table, the whole process will be conducted outdoors with social distancing and wearing masks. They, too, will receive a full proposal and scope of work emailed to them within 24 hours.
When a homeowner speaks with a sales manager at one of our offices, they’ll be asked which appointment option they would be more comfortable with. Regardless of which option the homeowner prefers, all proposals will require us to physically be on the property to measure and take photos of the roof accurately. However, how we interact with the homeowner will differ based on their comfort level.
- In-person appointment – The salesman will notify the homeowner by phone when they have arrived at their property and for them to come outside, will discuss all roofing concerns with the homeowner(s) while adhering to the recommended 6 feet radius between staff and the homeowner(s), will walk the property to measure and take photos of the roof, will email the proposal with a full scope of work and contract to the homeowner within 24 hours.
- Remote (Zoom) appointment – The salesman will notify the homeowner by phone when they have arrived at their property and inform them of what he’s about it do, will walk the property to measure and take photos of the roof, will leave the property to return to the office, will email the proposal with a full scope of work and contract to the homeowner, and will call by phone or utilize Zoom to go over the estimate with the homeowner.
Roofing Process – Once the homeowner decides to have Robey Roofing complete the roofing project, our project manager will be their main contact for the project. The project manager maintains constant communication with the homeowner from start to finish, from project progress or situations that may need the homeowner’s input, they’re always available.
During these difficult and unsure times, everyone at Robey Roofing is committed to ensuring the homeowner's health and their own are safe. If you have questions specific to your project, please contact us today for more information.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued efforts at social distancing with us to slow the spread of this virus.
